Cardtester.org allows you to test any credit or debit card. We do this test by charging your card $10 USD when you enter the card details on this page and click "Test Card." The card details are tokenized and checked without storing any sensitive data. We will then provide you a report indicating whether or not the card was processed successfully, and the message we receive if it was accepted or declined.

    

    

        
Is this secure? Do you retain any information?

        
Your card information is processed securely using PCI-compliant APIs. We do not store or see your card details. Additionally, we do not log any information about you, your devices, or your card(s). However, we do not control the records collection policies of our payment processor, who may collect or retain records as they see fit.

    

    

        
Why test my card?

        
Testing ensures your card can be processed correctly by payment systems. It helps identify issues before attempting real-world transactions. If your card is declined on a real transaction, you may be liable for large fees imposed by the merchant - such as when paying rent or loans. By testing, you can also determine if there is a lock or freeze on your card.
